Sulphurs Are Starting

Tight-Lining in shallow water produced
Got up early and made the trek to one of my favorite streams today. I started off the morning Tight-Lining and the results were impressive. Small sulphur nymph's were the ticket for the first two hours. Fish after fish hammered the fly in the shallow water resulting in one of my best outings of the year. The crowds showed up in the afternoon and the fishing slowed down. We still picked up fish here and there to keep things interesting. The Sulphurs are just starting to pop on this stream. There were decent bugs hatching around 5pm and a few fish keyed in on them. My dad had some luck on a dry fly but overall things weren't great on top. Still a great day to be on the water. Hopefully the rain will stay away and present good dry fly fishing for everyone looking to hit the Sulphurs in the next 2 weeks.
