The weather has been warm and gloomy here in Southwest PA so far this winter. I am chomping at the bit to get out my long boards to carve a few turns soon. This is my favorite ski movie clip of all time, reggae, powder and Rasta Stevie.........doesn't get much better then that!

Weekend Adventures: Geocache and Skiing

Mindy and I headed out this weekend to enjoy the outdoors with the weird weather around. On Sunday we went out Geocaching in Forbes State Forest then Monday we hit up springs for a rare bluebird day! The conditions at Springs in the morning were actually pretty good. They made snow Sunday night and got an inch of natural on top. Around 2pm the conditions got pretty icy and we decided to bounce. My video addiction is in full force, this doesn't mean I'll only post videos though, I'm just on a kick trying to figure this thing out!

Seven Springs Night Skiing

I just bought a GOPRO Outdoor II Edition Video Camera last week. Mindy, Elizabeth and I headed up to Seven Springs Wednesday night and I shot some footage. The quality of the video is dummed down through YouTube. The actual video is much clearer then it shows on this one but it's still decent. This is the second video of many, I can't wait to take it fishing and mountain biking.

Grobe's Skiing Highlights Out West

I just got a new movie maker program and have been messing around with it. I think I'm going to have some fun with this thing! I still have plenty of things to learn with the MAGIX MOVIE EDIT PRO, but it's relativley easy to use. I combined a bunch of videos I took out west with my camera for this one, the only thing that stinks is that you have to use the music they provide when you post to YouTube or Blogger because of copyright stuff. Hope you enjoy!
