June 10th, 2009

Wednesday morning was another bright and sunny day. Water was very clear with perfect flow. Stream temperature was around 60 degrees. We only picked up 9 fish, most of them on streamers, I was using a size #4 White Zonker and was moving some fish. The wildlife we saw was more interested then the fishing. We saw 2 black bears and a rattlesnake. Those rattlesnakes are nasty looking and scare the shit out of you when you see one. That evening we had lots of risers to BWO's and Grey Foxes around 6pm. Missed a good number of fish and caught 10, the spinner fall happened in the last 15 minutes as usual and produced some action. Saw one more bear in a garbage can rummaging through food.
