Fishing Report 8/03/2009

River 900 cfs and 56.5 degrees. Looks like the river was falling, it's at 891 cfs and dropping. Mostly Sunny afternoon, fished from noon till about 3:30pm. Didn't see many bugs coming off, a few caddis but that was it. Fished from above the second Island to the bottom of that stretch. Caught 2 trout and 2 smallmouth bass all on a Olive Hares Ear. Had one nice golden trout on but lost it and had one other big one on. I was battling the rafters all day today, it was frustrating trying to cast but didn't seem to effect the fish all that much.
