Fishing Report 8-23-09
Water 913 cfs and 70 degrees. Fished from 6pm-dark. Tried an assortment of streamers tonight, Sex Dungeon, White Zonker, Circus Peanut and a Muddler Minnow. Only caught 1 bass. The water is too warm for trout right now near Ohiopyle, your better off fishing near upper access for trout. The lows this week are in the 50's so hopefully it will cool the water off. The bug activity was awsome tonight, Tons of Slate Drakes hatching, rusty spinners everywhere and even saw some Big Yellow Stones hatching in the riffles. Thought I might see some rising so I went to a few slow pools but saw nothing.
