The weather was great, 65 degrees and partly cloudy. The river was flowing at 630 cfs and 45 degrees. We fished about 1/2 a mile of stream in 3 hours and picked up 14 fish on nymphs. That sounds like a lot but most of these fish were 7-10 inches. The big boys seemed to be hiding in the deep pools and were not very active. All in all it's good to see this little guys surviving and I did notice there bellies were bigger then earlier in the summer. Might be the last time I get out for the year, man how time flies!
(On a side note the fish from above looked different from all the other guys we caught today......might of been a stream bred bow but I'm not sure?)
I have caught a few bows just like this out of the middle too, especially in the past year, Its encouraging to see such pretty young trout. They look like they could be wild.
