Headed up to Penn's Creek to visit my brother which was supposed to be a 3 day dry fly fishing extravaganza. Got on the stream at about 2pm, a wide variety of bugs were buzzing around and the water was a bit high but not too murky. I hooked into 2 fat fish that looked like they have been gorging themselves this spring and thought I was going to be in for one heck of a trip. Then the rain came.....and it never went away. It's been more then a week and it's still high. Needless to say we got no dry fly fishing in and had to drive to other streams to try our luck.
