Slate Drakes
It's been awhile since I have been able to fish the river. Headed out Friday after work from 6pm to dark. Water was a bit off color and flowing around 1,000 cfs. Slate Drakes were hatching in decent numbers and brought a few fish to the surface. I was fishing a Royal Wulff Pattern with a nymph dropper. This set up produced 6-7 smaller fish but the action was good. Right at about dark there were tons of spinners in the air but they didn't hit the water while I was there. Felt good to toss some line on the river.......
