10-29-10 Archery Report: Getting Closer
Hunted a new spot tonight, much deeper into the ridge and it paid off with a very nice encounter with the buck I had close earlier in the season. the wind was annoying but the temperature was good and this nice buck showed up early, but it looked like he was suspicious and acted real nervous when he popped over the mountain. He played around out of range for a few minutes then swung right back down the mountain and out of sight. Getting closer on scoring on this bad boy, I'm pretty sure I got his bedding area nailed down now. Only time will tell.
